Day 1: Yangon Arrival ( D ).

Upon arrival in Yangon, a Myanmar motorbike tour guide will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel for check-in.
If time permits afternoon we will visit Yangon, formerly known as Rangoon, which is a relatively quiet and charming city. Its impressive colonial and spiritual heritage makes Yangon one of the most fascinating and authentic cities in South East Asia.
This afternoon, your journey begins with a tour around the city, walking by graceful colonial buildings and glittering stupas as well as observing the lifestyle of the local people. Proceed to the National Museum, where you will learn more about the culture and history of the country, and Kyaukhtatgyi Pagoda to visit the 70m long reclining Buddha.
At the end of today, we reach Myanmar’s holiest monument, the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda with its golden stupa covered with 60 tons of pure gold leaf. Dinner at the local restaurant.

Day 2: Yangon Ride To Bago ( B , L ,D ).

After breakfast, your journey begins with a motorbiking trip to Bago (appro: 2 hours).  Bago is located 80kms to the northwest of Yangon and served as the capital of the Mon Kingdom of Lower Myanmar during the 15th century. Stop to visit the Allied War Cemetery near the town of Htaukkyant, the final resting place for over 27,000 Allied soldiers who fought in Burma.
Upon reaching Bago, visit the beautiful 55-meter-long reclining Buddha, called Shwethalyaung, and the Mon-style pagoda of Shwemawdaw.  Shwemawdaw is one of the most venerated pagodas in Myanmar and its majestic spire stands 114m high, taller than the Shwedagon Pagoda!  Also, stop to visit the old Kambozathadi Palace and the huge 4 sitting Buddhas at Kyaikpun Bago by motorbike.

Day 3: Bago Ride To Kyaithiyo  ( B , L , D ).

This morning the motorcycling journey takes you from Bago to Kyaithiyo, home of the Golden Rock.  Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant on the way (with your account).  After lunch, reach the town of Kinpun, also known as ‘basecamp’ for the journey to the Golden Rock.  (total motorcycling to this point is 110km)  Travel by open-air trucks from Kinpun to the Golden Rock, along a steep 11km road.  The trucks drop us off and we will trek a further 4km along a paved path to the beautiful Golden Rock.  Golden Rock is famous as a religious site as well as a natural wonder as it balances precariously on its side. Reach the Rock in time for sunset where, if you’re lucky, the rock will illuminate in the late evening sunlight.

Day 4: Kyaitho To Sein Le Tin Resort (  B, L, D )

After breakfast return to the Golden Rock Pagoda for a walk around the shrines and to take in the beautiful vistas before descending to Kinpun.
After lunchtime, visit Ma Yan Cho's ancient pagoda, and motorbike to Kyaikhto.  On the way to Kyaikhto stop to visit the orphanage school at Seik Phu Taung.  By making a small donation of cash or school supplies you will ensure a brighter future for these orphaned children.
Upon reaching Kyaikhto, enjoy a cup of tea and relax after your day of motorcycling.

Day 5: Kyaikhto – Tha Hton – Mawlamyaing  ( B ,L, D )

Today begins with a motorbiking trip to Tha Hton (Approximately 3 hours), the capital of the Mon Kingdom in the 3rd century BC.  It is situated east of Yangon across the Gulf of Moattama and located on the rail and road-route between the two cities. Tha Hton is the historical birthplace of Theravada Buddhism in Myanmar.
Resume your journey with a motorbike ride through unspoiled natural areas and small villages.  The motor ride provides you with an opportunity to learn about the culture, tradition, and lifestyle of the local people.
In the afternoon we begin riding with a journey to Mawlamyaing (Approximately 3 hours), a small, charming town on the banks of the Thanlwin River.

Day 6: Mawlamyaing – Sightseeing  ( B, L, D )

Breakfast at the hotel. Spend today sightseeing by motorbike.  Visit the town’s largest pagoda, Mahamuni Pagoda, which is located at the northern end of the town. It is a good representation of the Mon Style architecture as it features covered brick walkways linking its many buildings. Continue to Seindon Mibaya Kyaung, the monastery where King Mindon’s Queen Seindon sought refugee after the last monarchy was overthrown. As today comes to a close, enjoy watching the sun set over Thanlwin River from Kyaikthanlan Pagoda, the highest and most visible pagoda hill in town.
Overnight in Mawlamyaing.

Day 7: Mawlamyaing – Set Se Beach  ( B , L ,D ) .

After breakfast, start to Set Se Beach (approximately 2.5 hours) stopping along the way to visit Kyaik Khami Village and the famous Ye Le Pagoda. The beach of Set Se is a pristine long beach but with no village nearby.  Therefore it is tranquil, perfect for those who want to enjoy the beach in solitude.  There is also a Japanese cemetery nearby.
Upon arrival, check-in at the local guest house, and the rest of this afternoon is at your leisure to enjoy the beach and its surroundings.
We set off for motorcycling back to Mamlamyaing (Approximately 2.5 hours) Stop en route to visit the village of Kyaikmayaw where you experience the local culture firsthand.

Day 8: Mawlamyaing – Transfer Back To Yangon By Train  ( B , L ) .

After breakfast spends this morning relaxing and resting your legs.  Transfer to the local railway station for the public train ride to Yangon.  The scenery is gorgeous as you travel through the countryside and through small townships on the way to Yangon.

Upon arrival at Yangon, transfer to your hotel.
Overnight in Yangon.

Day 9: Yangon Departure  ( B  )

After breakfast, explore downtown Yangon on foot, through streets filled with faded colonial atmosphere and bustling local markets.
This afternoon, there may be time to visit the Bogyoke Market before transferring to the airport for your onward flight.  Bogyoke Market, formerly known as Scott Market) is the perfect place to peruse the stalls for lacquer ware, jewelry, handicrafts, and other Burmese souvenirs.  (Note: the market is closed on Mondays and public holidays) . Tour Is Over.
